Here is our newest addition. I just wanted everyone to know that I am serious about posting more pictures, but it is 10 minutes to bedtime for mom and dad so I'm just posting one.
I was so excited to get your news today! The funny thing is, I checked your blog earlier in the day and there wasn't an update, so I was thinking you hadn't had him yet.
Congratulations! 9lb 6oz is the perfect size for a first baby -- exactly what Alex was :) And the good news is, every one of my babies has been smaller than him! LOL
Congratulations on little Oliver Thomas. We are so excited for both Paul and you. I too went on the blog yesterday morning and was surprised to see a pic today. I'm sure you will have a blast with this little guy. He is so cute! You are going to make great parents. Keep us informed with your move. I think I mentioned this on the family website but did you know that Oliver had Katrina beat by 1oz. I ended up with a c-section with her. How did your labor and delivery go?
The labor and delivery went great. It really, really hurt, but Paul was the best coach ever, and my mom assisted him during the last 2-3 hours. It was only lasted about 6 or 7 hours - neither of us remember, but it was very short. I told them that if I wanted an epidural, I would ask so not to offer anything and I didn't end up needing anything! Yea!
